This ridiculously good version was one of the highlights of summer tour. Melodic, rhythmic and oozing with energy, this is a jam that never gets old. It builds slowly and methodically, but by the 10 minute mark, we're in high gear. My favorite section soon follows with soaring Trey and bouncy Mike, a common trait of summer 99. After a second peak (15 min), the band descends into the depths similar to the 07-15-99 SOAM. While that jam fades away, this one rages right into Walk Away! Birds anchors arguably one of the most well rounded shows of the year. Highly recommended.
