Just to keep you honest, this is a great Piper, it could even be the best one of 2.0.....but no Piper can knock Prague 98 off of the Gold medal pedestal. There is a thread on Phish.net somewhere about this and I went through every single best ever Piper that people suggested as being able to compete with Prague 98, but nothing compares to the guitar solo journey Trey takes us on with that superlative version. In fact, that is probably my favourite guitar solo by anyone, ever in the entire history of modern music....it's that good! He really takes the listener on an extended journey of discovery, if you can stay focused on it for the duration. He is truly on fire for the entire show with many best of versions for me....even Loving Cup.....everything except Golgi, which is a hot mess. But best ever Piper....Prague 98.
