Review by thelot

thelot Nice crispy board available for Set 1. While I prefer a crispy audience like last night over a SBD, this sounds fantastic! Listening through headphones it sounds like this was dubbed over something else. It doesn’t take away from the quality but it’s definitely noticeable during quiet sections. Set 2 is clean from background noise but has a handful of generations in it’s lineage. Probably a Cass/3-4.

The band gets right to it with a Forbin>Mockingbird, Gin power pack. Nice Split Open that slams into Bundle of Joy! This transitions smoothly into YEM. Nice versions of PYITE and Reba follow.

Bowie to open set 2 went deep again. Still not as experimental as 10/26. The first Manteca tease shows up in this version. This version gets experiential on the second half of the jam and segues into No Dogs Allowed instead of coming to a conclusion. Nice Oh Kee Pah > Sloth pairing. Unfortunately the set cuts out after Foam.
