Review by spreaditround

spreaditround SET 1: AC/DC Bag, Cars Trucks Buses, Kung: Nice bustout, not seen since 10.20.94 which turns out to be a 75-show gap > Free, Sparkle: Tons of momentum out of gate with these first 5 tunes. >

Stash: Nice, our first shot at a jam! And do they ever capitalize on the opportunity. This one is a monster. They take it down to about nothing a couple of times. Once they do finally build for a peak, it is a big one! Creepy too – extremely intense. Then they literally whisper the ending Maybe So Maybe Not. Evil Phish. 3.0 take note! This is without a doubt, an all-timer!!! ->

Catapult, Acoustic Army, It's Ice > Tela, Runaway Jim: Super solid segment here to complete the set.

First set summary: Very good first set anchored of course by an all-time Stash. The stage is set for a great night.

SET 2: Reba: Not seen as a second set opener since 10.4.90! This only happened once more at 10.25.95 (my favorite version) and they never opened another second set with Reba after that as of the writing of this review, 10.9.22. This Reba is workmanlike as they exhibit great patience to move through many passages. The peak is solid yet unspectacular.
Rift: Standard.

You Enjoy Myself: This was a had to be there, there is so much going on with the special guests. No replay value for me.

Hello My Baby, Scent of a Mule, Cavern ENCORE: A Day in the Life - Standard

Second set summary: Good Reba and one that I might revisit occasionally. Outside of that, this set just is not one I care for.
