Review by Abe_Froman

Abe_Froman It was a real treat to be in the Ryman, on a HOT but still really nice Sunday in Nashville. The little old ladies who serve as ushers are so nice, and there aren't many places to see rock bands that have pews. Nashville's version of the Fillmore in San Francisco, I guess.

The show itself was..."eh." I really liked the idea of Trey and Mike teaming up with the Duo that summer, but as I saw the setlists roll in, it became pretty apparent that it would be heavy on Trey's solo material. I love those songs with TAB, but not with these three other really talented musicians. At one point during the night, they were jamming pretty well and I was sure they were going into "2001", but, alas, no love.

The songs in the setlist above with the footnotes are worth a listen, otherwise, you're probably good hunting down something else.
