Review by DollarBill

DollarBill Another soundboard of a Santana opener. Great sound.

The begining of My Sweet One is cut and the recording comes in right about at the herbivores line. The end sounds good anyway. Foam starts right away and is a good one. Nice and tight. Expanding their set list into a good Tweezer, we have a "best behavior" one as the Uncle Ebeneezer part is more tame. Great jam. Coil, again, tonight is better than the last one. Nice Page solo right into a jagged YEM intro. I think partly because Page wasn't quite ready after his Coil solo. YEM is a little loose in the begining but, tightens up for the jam. First time on the tramps for the Santana crowds? The vocal jam is based on "French hairdo" and, "What you got to do?" Right into a rocking Tweeprise to sum up the evening. A few bum notes in there.

Good set. They took a little more risks tonight but, I think it paid off.
One week to go for my first look at Blossom.
