I'm glad we've found *yet another goddamn arena* to talk about the Dick's Mike's. I'd honestly be shocked if it's any kind of portent for the hallowed second jam; to me, with enough listens, it falls squarely between the "OMGZ AMAZING!!!" camp and the "*stifling a yawn*" camp. But a list of essays about Summer 14's noteworthy jams is incomplete without it, so what can you do.

Were I to make a selection of jams to talk about from the tour, this would more or less be my list as well, so good on .net. In retrospect, this summer was just as plain interesting (setting all musical quality aside) as last year; instead of nonstop rain we had segues making a comeback, instead of a throwback Tweezer we got a throwback seguefest, and instead of a three-set show we got Fuego having a Ghost-like rookie season. It's hard not to be extremely psyched for fall, especially given the last Fall tour.
