Charlie, terrific piece here. You did so many things at one, including speaking up for an aspect of Coventry that revisionists are quick to pass over: weirdly, there's some transcendent music. That's part of what Coventry was--more sad than happy, and more disastrous than anything else, but certainly bittersweet.
