You should care about this group since they've been doing and maintaining this website since 1994 which is the "gold standard" among both Phish and other bands for collecting accurate information about setlists, song histories and other performance information. Based on that information, we produced the two best selling print books on Phish, The Phish Companion, which Phish, Inc. itself carries in it's online Dry Goods store (among other things the Foundation's done).

All of this work has been done by unpaid volunteers for the love of Phish. Because we're not-for-profit, the over $620,000 we've earned has been donated for over 100 grants for music education programs for underserved kids. Part of the reason we've done this is to improve the reputation of Phish fans as not being useless "hippies" who should be harassed rather than welcomed by venue host communities.
