It’s amazing to me that few people seem to review the non-Phish shows. Listening to this Maze at present, I’m quite moved by the delicate interplay between Trey’s echo pedal looping, voice samples, and gentle nylon touch, acoustalectric. Elephants marching two by two kick up familiar dust tumbling within itself and reforming over and over again. What with the wheatgrass enema and all, this is the sublime to the ridiculous in one of the most beautiful and hushed music halls I’ve ever visited.
