After Reba, the crowd was chanting "cheeseburger." Fish and Trey subsequently went into a rap about burgers. Trey dedicated Forbin's to the Colonial (Bruce Hampton). Forbin's was then performed with a variety of lyric substitutions of Col. (Bruce) Hampton for Col Forbin. Rocky Top through Antelope featured the “Reverend” Jeff Mosier on banjo; Antelope also featured Oteil Burbridge on bass. As Fish took the stage during HYHU, the crowd chanted for Fee. Fish sounded perplexed and remarked that he doesn’t sing Fee, but Trey and Page started the song up anyway and left Fish on the spot. He tried his best and got through the first verse before falling apart during the chorus. Terrapin featured Fish on trombone. The band said "Fee" several times at that start of Possum, which contained subsequent Blue Monk teases from Trey and a Rhapsody in Blue tease from Page. BBFCFM contained an Auld Lang Syne tease from Trey. The source of Set I is phish.com.

Review by TheEmu

TheEmu Only the 2nd set was available. Sound quality wise it is up and down, with some big level jumps, especially during Antelope and Possum. When the levels are up, it's pretty good, though. Rocky Top and Uncle Pen with Rev. Jeff are nice, of course. When they brought Oteil in I certainly wasn't expecting an Antelope (neither were some of the fans, apparently). The main Antelope jam is nothing too amazing, as you can't really hear Jeff and Oteil through Trey's playing. But the pre-Rye Rye Rocco section is damn sweet. Oteil's soloing is great, and I swear it sounds like Trey that is scatting along with Oteil's playing. Not sure how that is possible if it was actually improv - could it have been a song they were teasing? Or was it not Trey singing along? Dunno. The Antelope is definitely worth a listen. The fan acid trip commentary during Hydrogen is amusing. "Visuals up the ass," and later, "Are you seeing the same shit? Oh, God!" Heh. Weekapaug is pretty good. Getting Fish to attempt Fee is damn amusing as well, and the trombone solo in Terrapin is kind of whacked. There must have been some vacuum problems; after Terrapin, Fishman says "That was called the vacuum cleaner-bone fake." Possum is also a decent version, with a quiet jam at the start. And I'll say this for the chatty crowd - as annoying as I find the repeated requests for Golgi, Suzy, Contact, Fee, etc. they certainly do a good job of shutting up at several points while the band is playing (i.e. Contact). And the crowd is kind of funny at points..."I'll pay you $5 to play Suzy twice"..."Play Reba! (Trey: We already played Reba) Play a Reba jam, man. I heard it already but I like it." "Play Fee" "No, it's Possum, shhhh!" etc.

I'll go three stars on this, but I do recommend giving the Antelope a listen. And if you need a lol, the crowd banter.

thelot Decent enough audience recording with some choice crowd banter throughout. The one major downside to this source is the level fluctuations throughout.

It’s too bad the first set doesn’t circulate because it looks pretty good.
Set 2 kick off with some good ‘ol fashion bluegrass. New friend and future bluegrass mentor, Jeff Mosier joins the band on banjo and vocals. Oteil Burbridge joins in on the fun for a unique Antelope. Oteil shines during the Marco section (move over Mr. Gordon!) Weekapaug slays per usual. It’s reported that HYHU followed Love You in Woodbury(4/29) but unfortunately it’s cut from the tapes. This show features the first time HYHU bookends a Fishman song. A fan keeps yelling for Fee when Fish takes the stage. Trey and Page launch into Fee leaving Fish on the spot. Fun impromptu moment. They abort Fee pretty quickly and head into Terrapin. Henrietta plays with his bone on this version. Solid Possum set closer.
The fan yelling for Fee finally gets it during the encore. Enjoyable set of music with great chomper banter in between songs.
