The beginning of My Friend featured Trey on acoustic guitar. Antelope contained a tease of The Price of Love and Simpsons and All Fall Down signals. Stash contained a HYHU tease from Mike and was unfinished. The beginning of Hydrogen included the lyrics "I walk awakening on the misty fields of forever." This show marked the Phish debut of Nellie Kane. Mike subsequently teased Nellie Kane in Weekapaug, which was unfinished. Mike teased Dog Log in Possum.

Breaking more new ground in new venues, this is the first performance at The Edge. The eighteenth show of the tour continues in Florida and was pretty average for this time period. I wish I could say better things about the recording other than I'm glad it's available. It left a lot to be desired as there were many cuts and maybe multiple sources patched together. Also, it sounded like the taper, or transferor had a bad cable making an awful buzzing throughout a lot of the show.
Golgi starts and almost immediately cuts into the second verse and then sounds like another source was patched in, so I can't really say it was good or bad. My Friend has some rough spots in the intro while everyone gets settled in. The song itself was good. Rift had some bad timing as Fishman is a little fast in this one and it almost breaks down multiple times. Trey's solo was also sloppy because of this. Bouncing was good. Melt had a few spots, but a great jam. Reba, again, had spots, but was overall pretty good. The recording source changes again for a good "special" Lawn Boy. Chalk Dust rocks as usual. The Wedge is still being played the original way featuring Page, and was ok tonight. Paul was well played as was Antelope to round out this pretty good first set.
Nice rocking Axilla to start the second set. My Sweet One is well played although a little fast. Stash was pretty uneventful and is unfinished again. Not sure why they are doing that on this tour? It almost sounds like Trey is teasing Manteca after they blew it the last time. Lizards was pretty solid, maybe a few tiny spots off. Punch is getting better each time, but this one is a little too fast and still sloppy. ATR was well played. Mike's was a little more reserved tonight and had kind of a weak jam to it. Again the recording cuts into some talking over the beginning of another sloppy Hydrogen. Weekapaug was also a little fast and led into a surprising Nellie Kane debut. Not sure what prompted that, but it was ok. Weekapaug then goes unfinished right into HYHU. This brings Fish out for a slow Terrapin, the usual vacuum solo and an introduction of Paul only? Possum has a few rough spots, but is otherwise a good jam bringing the second set to a close.
Trey thanks someone for the monogrammed ears? And then everyone gets shushed for a pretty good Adeline which Trey says they just wrote on the fly tonight. Very funny... More bluegrass as we have a fast, sloppy Poor Heart to send everyone on their way.
Just pretty average overall tonight. Nothing too special, to my ears anyway, from this show, so I'm sticking to about three stars.

SET I
The first set is solid, but nothing outstanding. The SOAM is pretty good. There's some evil laughter before the band breaks into the jam, which has some good energy and playing. The Reba is ok. The Wedge is nice to hear because at this point it's still in its infancy stages. It debuted at the beginning of the tour and has an intro and outtro segment dominated by Page, which I believe is unique to '93 versions. The Antelope has an interesting intro and is pretty solid.
SET II
The Stash was good. I really enjoyed the Mike's > Hydrogen > Week > Nellie Kane > Week. I wouldn't say it was great jamming, but the band moves nicely in and out of Nellie Kane. Definitely worth a listen.
