    Bob Gullotti is one of the most accomplished drummers you will ever encounter. Combining power, subtlety, grace, and a virtually unmatched articulation of rhythm, Bob Gullotti sets a standard to which most drummers can only imagine reaching.
    Bob has sat in with Phish on three occasions. On 10/23/96 Bob sat in at the Hartford Civic Center for the entire second set and encore (check out the extraordinary “Tweezer”). Then a two-night stint in Texas: on 7/25/97 in Dallas for the entire second set and encore (note the drums duo in “Ya Mar”), and 7/26/97 in Austin for the entire show. Gullotti was also one of the ensemble members in Trey’s “Surrender to the Air” project, appearing both on the album and during the performances at New York’s Academy of Music on 4/1/96 and 4/2/96.
    Bob is an active teacher and performer, a regular in the jazz scenes of Boston and Providence. He currently can be found performing with his own group, The Fringe, as well as with The Hal Crook Group, Galindo/Phaneuf Sextet, and Gil Aharon Trio.
