nichobert UIC3 is better than Bethel 3, but between those two runs, they're still more similar to each other than any of the other shows.. Execution is one thing, but the intent seems pretty similar.

Either way, I'm thinking and hoping that Dicks 3's best analogy will be UIC 2. They have a lot of heavy hitter jam tunes ready to unleash, but I'd prefer for some curveball improv tunes.. Playing a bunch of jam songs whose best moments are in the distant past- YEM, Gin, Mikes, Bowie, Reba, Ghost, Piper, etc- just seems so much less compelling than finding new spaces within old standard standbys and underappreciated gems.

I guess what I'm saying is, I wholly support the push in the direction of standardization of the classic improv jam songs and the promotion of some new blood.
Fearless Forecast: Dick 3
I: Vultures-> Maze, Halley's-> Billy Breathes, Roggae, Mound, Heavy Things-> PYITE, First Tube
II: Number Line*-> Undermind-> Ocean Sing-> My Friend, It's Ice*-> McGrupp*-> Taste
