MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 462

Welcome to the 462nd edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the final and most difficult puzzle of April - thanks to MJM HoFer @Zands for one of today's clips! The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the songs and dates of all three mystery clips, which are connected by a theme. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Stay safe!

Answer: Congrats to now six-time MJM winner @experiencechuck, who has now gone back-to-back in most impressive fashion. This week, he identified three Camden jams: 6/7/09 "Fee," 7/31/03 "Piper," and the tricky Zands-recommended 6/10/11 "Steep." Next week we go back to n00b level MJMing, but perhaps the n00bs will let this it go to hint and one of the three six-time winners will induct themself into the MJM HoF.

sumac22 Damn, much props to you @experiencechuck. I knew that Fee sounded familiar, because I've listened to it at least 10 times! *facepalm*

mcgrupp81 Ha. Jam #2 was my favorite of the trio and I was at that show. Rainy evening, hence the reason they opened with Llama. Pretty sure it was that weekend I skipped out on IT and wound up getting all four wisdom teeth pulled instead. Talk about polar opposite experiences with the exception of the heavy drugs. Great selections as almost always!

experiencechuck that Fee was my jumping off point! right at the end where Fishman hits the snare along with Trey’s trem is so good.. but yea once I realized it was a post-Fee washout kind of beat I had it quick (but this was after an hour of looking for jam 3 in 2011-12 with no luck)

checked out some Camden jams and wound up on that Piper after not too long probably because I love that show.. that Seven Below is a favorite of mine, Trey plays one of my favorite little runs in it and it always pops into my head

then I was just lucky I was at that Camden 2011 show and remembered they tacked a jam onto Steep for the first or second time.. SPAC 2010 also had a major key shorter thing, but this was the only type 2ish one until BD I think! and Fishman’s drums are super distinct in 2011, the snare is sooo punchy, but I had skipped over Camden earlier since there wasn’t much type 2 this show, it was more of a first set affair
