mrminer82 This was my 147th Trey show. My buddies and I rolled up to the venue early so that we could partake in the shakedown shenanigans. As we walked around the lot, I could feel the excitement building from everyone around me. This was the first NYC show in a while and we all knew it was going to be special. I had been chasing a 'Do Re Mi' for years and I had a feeling before the show that tonight would be the night.

While my buddies and I were strolling the lot, we were throwing beers back, smokin' the chron and feeling fine when we saw a wook kicking his hackey sack around so we joined him for a game. He told us that he had some acid for sale so we ended up scoring some amazing purple barrels about an hour and a half before showtime. This night was going to be perfect.

We got into the venue right before showtime. Trey came out a few minutes later with a cup of coffee and he proceeded to give a guitar lesson. Then he launched into "LAICSTL" and the crowd went wild. It turned into a jam of epic proportions with plenty of Type I improvising. Trey then continued on with the guitar lesson, leaving much of the audience thankful but bewildered. At one point, he teased "Do Re Mi" and I was absolutely beside myself with joy even though it was only a tease. All in all, a strange but amazing show that I will not forget for some time.
