Llama was performed in an alternate arrangement. Quadrophonic Toppling was performed for the first time since December 31, 1999 (606 shows). Mike teased Dueling Banjos in Chalk Dust Torture. During the soundcheck, Mike quoted Got My Mojo Working in the jam and Trey quoted My Shot after The Final Hurrah as well as Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 in Gumbo.

Listening to Gordo's 2022 picks right now and find it pretty surprising that the Stash from this show is not listed on the jam charts. Even though fairly short, this version definitely breaks the traditional mold and packs a ton of energy. The transition back to Stash proper is perfectly executed as well.

Some sloppy moments in the 1st set. Trey forgot Halley lyrics. Mike forgot Old Home Place lyrics. It didn't sound like a tour opener sloppiness though, just some small kinks here and there. Twist had some good jamming early on. Sand was high energy and played well. Stash sounded nice to me. Song choice of first set was a bit all over the place, but worked overall. The whole second set is worth a listen. Fishman is heavy on the sample which live I didn't catch, but on re-listen takes away a bit. The whole set is great. There is exploratory jamming, especially in Soul Planet and Chalkdust. Soul planet through Chalkdust is top notch Phish. Loving Cup through SANTOS is rocking and I thought a good way to end a great tour opener.

1st set 2nd set, QT tease, first OHP of 3.0. Hell, listen to this show just for the first three songs of the night, if anything. I'll have to give it a re-listen. I was on the rail and the sound left a little to be desired, honestly. You only have the monitors and the drums can echo a bit. Having said that though; Definitely didn't feel like your typical tour-opening show. They seem warmed up already. Guess that's what happens when you're leader is in 3 or 4 different bands.
Ya Mike flubbed OHP, but that's really the only flaw I could recall. Mike was changing keys all night like Biden changed the locks after Trump finally left!
Many many highlights here. I think. Again, I'll have to give it a relisten. Just feels good to be back and able to leave a show review after 4 years of not seeing the Phearsome Phoursome!!
