kipmat The good news: an AUD recording of this show entered circulation on 3/21/22, cleaned up and EQ'd by Charlie Miller. The bad news: the audio quality is still poor, despite Charlie Miller's best efforts. There is an omnipresent wobble during the opening Chalk Dust Torture, with Trey's Languedoc sounding as if it is being processed through a chorus effect at its widest setting, similar to Jimi Hendrix's guitar sound on Hey Baby (New Rising Sun). By The Landlady, the pitch fluctuation has been reduced, and has almost disappeared in time for a psychotic YEM vocal jam and the typically blistering Llama closer. Trey adds, "Thank you very much. We're called Phish, by the way. Carlos is up next."

The AUD of the band's sit-in with Santana later in the evening has circulated for a while, with significantly better audio quality, and is worth checking out!
