This is the first live phish concert I owned. I had no idea who the Talking Heads were when I bought the album. I just got it because it was the only live Phish release at the CD store with live versions of both Reba and YEM. I now credit Phish with making me a Talking Heads fan, and Remain in Light is among my favorite albums.

This show does have its share of highlights outside of the Remain in Light set:

1) The DWD is high energy rock, and in particular the last 2-3 minutes have some really cool trippy effects
2) The YEM jam keeps the high energy, its fun, energetic, and that energy boils over into a vocal jam that I truly enjoy listening to
3) The Caspian is short, but Trey's solo in it is so spot on. It almost sounds written. Very gorgeous
4) Reba is probably the gem of Set I. The energy builds patiently until hitting a stellar peak around 12 min. Very strong version.
5) The Simple in Set III is heavy with effects and loops, allowing Mike, Page & Fish to shine. At about 12 min in, Trey returns from effects driven jamming to guitar heavy riffs. Excellent version

Set I & III highlights aside, the Remain in Light set is clearly the thing worth listening to at all costs. They did a great job of recreating the album and feel from beginning to end, the addition of the percussion and horn players perfectly captures the aura of Remain in Light, and while each song is strong I would particularly note that Crosseyed and Painless is fun to hear with the horns added, and Trey slays the solo in The Great Curve.
