Review by TheEmu

TheEmu My initial thoughts on much of this show were "teetering on the edge of a whacked-out DEG excursion, but still interesting jams." Upon a little further listening, the jams may not be as out there as I first thought. But interesting, yes. Definitely interesting versions of Possum, SOAMelt, and, of course, Roll Like a Cantaloupe. Good versions of Weekapaug, Ya Mar, and especially AC/DC Bag, which builds to a really good climax. Not so good versions of Squirming Coil and A Train, but an amusing Harpua with Purple Haze segment, and "Jimmy?" "Yes, dad?" "Hendrix?" "Yes, dad?" lyrics. An unfortunate fade-out during Bowie, but much of this show is worth a listen or two. I'll say 3 stars.
