play_it_leo89 Great write up! Never, ever in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever read this sentence in relation to a Phish show: "Hit hard by the British trade embargo of 1807, the city grew in both size and stature following the War of 1812."

One question though - You make reference to the phenomenal 2.28.03 show several times (a top-3 all time show in my personal estimation). However, I'm not sure how this fits into the concept of The Night Before The Night. I don't remember (and I very, very well could be wrong) there being much anticipation for the 3.01.03 Greensboro show. Am I forgetting things?
