Thought this was a great tour opener! You could tell they were happy to be back on stage, especially Trey. There were no “monster” jams per se, but the music still flowed effortlessly. I was lost in the sauce many times, as these guys know how to command a room. At no point in the show was I hoping for something different. In the moment, if you’re really listening, then you know how beautifully dense these pockets of sound were that showed up in almost every jam, length not considered. Gonna be a great tour!

Great kick-off the fall tour. Starting off with First Tube began a set full of surprises. Sand>Fire was complete fuego and the Plasma-thon in set 2 delighted. Great vibe, happy energy, intimate full house. I think Trey solo acoustic run played heavily into some of the slower songs and great to hear some Page standouts with Maybe. First ever Bye Bye Foot for us. Great start!

This show was awesome. Despite the lack of extended jams and unevenness of the second set, the first set was the tightest the band has sounded in 2019 to my ears. I would have preferred at least one lengthier composition or energetic original to end a set, but all in all the setlist was unexpected and the songs were really well executed. Hard to believe this show has a similar rating to Mohegan night 2, which felt sloppy, aimless and energyless by comparison.

Jedi Trey right off the bat with all of his First Tube antics. Tons of energy in the first quarter, second quarter was a little more chill but still saw some exploration during Sand. The 2nd set was up and down, but it will mostly be remembered for the Plasma segues. Overall, it was a solid opener to build upon with the upcoming shows.

Solid mini-tour opener. Some setlist thoughts for the .net crew: 1) Instead of -> Plasma after Light and SYSF, perhaps add an * to denote a Plasma ending (which seemed, both times, to be Trey atoning for the 1st Plasma flubbed ending); and 2) add the Magilla tease by Page in Simple.

Super fun tour opener! I wasn't expecting to make it to any of Fall Tour due to money/scheduling, but I was lucky enough to win two tickets for this show on Instagram! After a quick drive down to Prov my friend and I were beyond excited to see what the Phish had in store. Set I is filled with energy, the band seemed like they were really having fun. Highlight of Set I is easily the blazing Sand>Fire closer. Set II is filled with fun segues and excellent jams, despite the track lengths. The opening stretch of 46 Days>BOTT>Plasma is amazing. Farmhouse and Joy definitely killed some of the flow for me, but whatever. Light>Plasma>BOAF is great, as is Simple>SYSF>Plasma. Walk Away closes the set in style. Super fun encore. All in all a great night of P Fish in tha Prov!
