Landlady was preceded by I Dream of Jeannie theme and Contact teases as well as Landlady dance instructions. The I Dream of Jeannie theme was also teased in Lizards. YEM included a Cheap Sunglasses tease from Mike and Weekapaug included a Fishin' Hole (aka The Andy Griffith Show theme) tease. Trey introduced Fish as “the hardest working man in show business... Henrietta!” before I Didn’t Know. Possum contained two Charlie Chan signals and a Popeye signal.

Review by BizzyB

BizzyB One of my fondest memories...celebrating my 20th birthday with my friends at a Phish show. What could be better?

The show has some notable events, like the explanation of The Landlady dance..."the landlady...the new dance craze...everybody is doing it".

But most notable to me was post Golgi:

Fish: "that was for bizzyb's 20th birthday, from propellor man....propellor man, that's great"

Many thanks to Tom (aka propellor man)

thelot Decent SBD source for this show with a good amount of low end in the mix. Big thanks to John Redmond for getting it done!

The show kicks off with a nice four song stretch. Solid YEM. Nice B&D solos in Magilla. Rippin’ Llama. Golgi rounds out a set that flows nicely all the way through.

Set 2 starts out with Trey encouraging the crowd to learn the storm dance for the Landlady. An enjoyable Mike’s Groove follows. Tube has a cool little breakdown that leads into the jam. The introduction of Henrietta once again during I Didn’t Know confirms that the Zero Man costume has been officially retired. Strong Possum to close out the set. A red hot Fire rounds out the evening.
